Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals of all ages. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Administer psychological tests and interpret results.
  • Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Work closely with other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document all client interactions and treatment efforts.
  • Advise clients on coping strategies and lifestyle changes.
  • Provide consultation and resources to clients' families.
  • Participate in staff meetings and case conferences.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Doctorate in Psychology
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a relevant setting
