Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT) to join our dynamic team. The RTT will play a crucial role in administering radiation therapy treatments to patients. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training new staff on radiation therapy protocols.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on all treatment equipment.
• Engage in patient education regarding therapy methods and outcomes.
• Support the healthcare team in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress.
• Document and report any adverse events or equipment malfunctions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in Radiation Therapy are advantageous.

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is essential.

Technical Skills

• Dosimetry Software Proficiency
• Electronic Medical Record Systems

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
