Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring patient health, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and record patients' health status and progress.
• Administer medications, prepare IVs, and conduct treatments.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Guide and supervise junior nursing staff and trainees.
• Educate patients on self-care techniques and treatment options.
• Manage and document medical supplies and equipment.
• Participate in patient care committees and initiatives.
• Assist with health promotion and disease prevention activities.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

• 1+ year of relevant nursing experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Medication Administration

Certifications

• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Bilingual skills: Ability to speak multiple languages is advantageous.
