Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you will be critical in supporting the smooth logistics of timber processing. Your responsibilities will encompass the efficient movement of logs, working collaboratively with the processing team to ensure productivity.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing various tools and machinery to facilitate the movement of logs.
• Following operational guidelines for stacking and sorting logs efficiently.
• Conducting routine checks and maintenance on handling equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Supporting the team with additional forestry and processing tasks as needed.
• Observing and enforcing safety standards among team members.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in timber production or forestry operations preferred.

Languages
