Security Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Security Engineer to bolster our growing cybersecurity team. This role is vital for implementing security measures to safeguard our infrastructure and data. You will work closely with other IT professionals to identify and rectify potential vulnerabilities and threats.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee security tools and technologies.
• Connect with stakeholders to develop a cohesive cybersecurity strategy.
• Conduct training and awareness programs for all employees on security protocols.
• Evaluate new technologies and their benefit to security posture.
• Perform routine scans and remediate vulnerabilities as necessary.
• Document and report on security statuses, incidents, and responses.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience, with a focus on IT security

• Threat Analysis

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
