Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Veterinary Technician to support our team in providing quality care for animals. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assisting veterinarians, performing diagnostic tests, and administering medications to ensure the health of pets and livestock.

Responsibilities

• Support the veterinarian in clinical and surgical procedures.
• Prepare animals for surgery, including sedation and monitoring.
• Conduct physical exams and obtain detailed patient histories.
• Manage and update medical records in compliance with regulations.
• Implement nursing care protocols for animal patients.
• Coordinate with other staff for scheduling and client communication.
• Assist in client education regarding pet care and health issues.
• Ensure the clinic environment is welcoming and sanitary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in veterinary care

Certifications

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
