Job Description

As a Dyer in our textile manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in dyeing fabrics and textiles to create vibrant and high-quality coloured materials. You will be responsible for using specialized techniques and equipment to ensure superior colour consistency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dyeing solutions and ensure accurate pigment mixing.
• Ensure machines are set up correctly for various dyeing processes.
• Conduct quality control checks on dyed fabrics.
• Maintain and troubleshoot dyeing equipment as necessary.
• Collaborate with designers to develop new dye patterns and techniques.
• Manage inventory of dyeing materials to prevent stock outages.
• Document and report any equipment malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Implement eco-friendly dyeing practices where possible.
• Assist in training new staff on dyeing processes and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certification or vocational training in dyeing is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in dyeing or textile production roles required

Certifications
