The right individual should possess a keen understanding of South African tax laws and demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex tax-related data and provide insights to clients.
• Draft tax opinions and memoranda to communicate tax issues.
• Engage with tax authorities on client matters.
• Support audit procedures and reduce the risk of disputes.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and tax filings.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client relationship.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Postgraduate Qualification in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years working in a tax advisory firm or related environment

Technical Skills

• Tax Legislation
• Financial Analysis

Certifications

• South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) registration
• Chartered Accountant status preferred

Languages
