• Conduct thorough analysis and research of tax issues.

• Review and provide insight on tax-related legislation.

• Ensure all filings meet specified deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality in client dealings.
• Communicate tax-related issues clearly to clients.
• Prepare forecasts of tax liabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Additional qualifications in Taxation are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax consulting or compliance

Technical Skills

• Excel Spreadsheet Proficiency
• Compliance Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• South African Revenue Service (SARS) Registration
• Compliance certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
