Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Software Tester to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases for functional and non-functional testing.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Ensure ongoing quality of products through regression and end-to-end testing.
• Utilize testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, or similar for tracking bugs and managing test cases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in testing methodologies and processes.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation

Technical Skills

• Selenium
• API Testing

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of performance testing tools: Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
• Experience in mobile application testing: Familiarity with testing mobile applications on different platforms.
