Job Description

We are on the lookout for a proactive Plant Manager to oversee our operations in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring operational efficiency, and leading a team to maintain high-quality standards. A strong background in manufacturing and leadership is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
• Create and lead a collaborative team environment focused on achieving operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain accreditation.
• Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Provide support and leadership during audits.
• Develop relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality and reliability.
• Oversee project management for new equipment installations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master’s degree in Manufacturing Management is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with supervisory experience
