Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. This role offers you the opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives by providing holistic care and treatment. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose patient conditions through assessment and history taking.
  • Coordinate and manage patient care with a focus on evidence-based practices.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to monitor patients' progress.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff.
  • Advocate for patient needs and manage patient complaints.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing Science
  • Certification in Advanced Practice Nursing is preferred
Experience
  • 5 years of healthcare experience, minimum 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner
