Job Description

The Animal Science Professor will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to both undergraduate and postgraduate students in animal science. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in areas such as animal genetics, nutrition, and welfare. This role also encompasses conducting impactful research and fostering academic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions in animal science.
• Initiate and publish research related to animal health and welfare.
• Mentor students and assist them in their academic and professional development.
• Establish collaborations with industry partners and other academic institutions.
• Contribute to administrative responsibilities within the department.
• Participate in academic committees and professional organizations.
• Foster a learning environment that promotes student engagement and innovation.
• Assist in developing online learning resources and materials.
• Implement assessments to measure student progress and competency.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Animal Science or a related field
• Relevant teaching qualifications are highly regarded

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in teaching and research
