Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for managing patient care, communicating with families regarding care plans, and working closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to relevant staff.
• Conduct health assessments and develop care plans.
• Implement patient education for disease prevention and health maintenance.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Participate in continuous education and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council

Experience

• 2+ years of nursing experience

Certifications

• Basic Life Support Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
