Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Financial Planner to join our growing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive financial planning services, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and foster strong client relationships. As a Financial Planner, you will assess clients' financial needs, develop financial plans, and help clients achieve their financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Draft personalized financial reports for client reviews.
• Educate clients about the benefits and risks of various financial products.
• Prepare proposals and presentations for clients and prospects.
• Collaborate with other financial professionals to ensure holistic service delivery.
• Track financial market trends and suggest proactive adjustments to clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Finance or Business Management is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of proven experience in client-centric financial consultancy

Technical Skills

• Portfolio Management
• Risk Assessment

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Registered Financial Consultant (RFC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in investment analysis tools: Experience using Bloomberg Terminal or similar tools for analysis.
• Experience in retirement planning: Understanding the fundamentals of retirement savings programs and plans.
