Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Financial Planner to join our growing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive financial planning services, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and foster strong client relationships. As a Financial Planner, you will assess clients' financial needs, develop financial plans, and help clients achieve their financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client financial status using documented data.
• Create financial strategies involving debt management and investment diversification.
• Implement risk management strategies in client financial plans.
• Assist clients in making informed decisions regarding wealth accumulation.
• Facilitate educational sessions to help clients understand their financial options.
• Manage client expectations and provide dedicated follow-up service.
• Cultivate new client leads through networking and referrals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Finance or Business Management is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of proven experience in client-centric financial consultancy

Technical Skills

• Portfolio Management
• Risk Assessment

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Registered Financial Consultant (RFC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in investment analysis tools: Experience using Bloomberg Terminal or similar tools for analysis.
