Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cleanliness and high standards of service. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, and managing a team of housekeepers to provide exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff on cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
  • Manage and monitor inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Address and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
  • Keep track of housekeeping staff performance and provide feedback.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel operating policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets and control expenses.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Hospitality Management preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping
