Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Payroll Clerk to manage our payroll processes in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a solid understanding of payroll procedures, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the payroll process from entry to disbursement.
  • Ensure correct deductions for taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
  • Provide reports on payroll analysis and trends to management.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing payroll policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor new hires in payroll practices and systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Matriculation certificate or equivalent
  • Degree in Accounting or Financial Management is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years in payroll processing, ideally within a South African context.
