Job Description

As a Visual Merchandising Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating captivating visual displays that engage customers and promote our products effectively. This role involves collaborating closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure our brand image is consistently represented.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain eye-catching visual displays across multiple retail locations.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop promotional displays that drive sales.
• Ensure visual merchandising aligns with the brand’s marketing strategies.
• Evaluate and optimize visual merchandising through regular store assessments.
• Prepare reports on sales performance linked to visual merchandising efforts.
• Foster a cohesive team environment through training and communications.
• Oversee the execution of visual merchandising standards in-store.
• Engage with vendors and suppliers to source display materials.
• Track trends in retail merchandising to keep displays fresh and appealing.
• Collaborate with store management to refine product placement for maximum exposure.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or Business Administration
• Additional courses in Interior Design or Marketing are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in retail merchandising

Certifications

• Certified Visual Merchandiser (CVM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans can be a plus.
