We are seeking an enthusiastic Event Planner to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will have a knack for organization and a passion for creating unforgettable events. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, from weddings to corporate gatherings. Your expertise will help ensure that every event runs smoothly and exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Design event layouts and oversee all logistics preparations.
  • Coordinate with caterers, decorators, and entertainment to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop marketing materials for events and manage promotional campaigns.
  • Assist in social media outreach and event publicity efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all events.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients on event proposals.
  • Monitor and manage event timelines to ensure successful execution.
  • Work with the accounts team to track event expenses and reconcile budgets.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Event Management or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the event planning industry
