Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our committed team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to safeguard sensitive information. You will play a key role in our cybersecurity strategy, working to protect the organization from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess security reviews and perform audits.
• Develop incident response protocols.
• Research and implement new security technologies.
• Conduct regular penetration testing.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity.
• Facilitate security compliance audits.
• Document security incidents and prepare incident reports.
• Work on enhancing the overall security posture.
• Coordinate with external security vendors for assessments.
• Assist in maintaining security certifications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field

Experience

• Experience in a similar role is preferred

• Network Security

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
