Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our committed team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to safeguard sensitive information. You will play a key role in our cybersecurity strategy, working to protect the organization from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine check-ups on security systems.
• Analyze potential risks and provide solutions.
• Liaise with other departments for security compliance.
• Review incident logs and influence updates to security measures.
• Optimize firewall and VPN configurations.
• Participate in security training and awareness sessions
• Document procedures for ongoing security improvements.
• Assist in vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of breaches.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field

Experience

• Experience in a similar role is preferred

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages
