Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Pretoria team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including contracts and change orders.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
• Conduct reviews of engineering designs and make recommendations for improvements.
• Assess environmental and sustainability impacts of projects.
• Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure favorable terms.
• Deliver presentations and reports to clients and management.
• Stay updated with industry developments to recommend best practices.
• Ensure all projects comply with legal and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site visits and assessments to ensure project quality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design and management

• AutoCAD
• Structural Analysis Software

Certifications

Languages
