Responsibilities

• Manage prescription orders and verification processes.
• Assist patients in understanding their medication therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient health outcomes.
• Track and monitor medication usage trends within the community.
• Conduct follow-ups with patients to assess therapy effectiveness.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Train and mentor new pharmacy staff as needed.

Requirements

Education

• PharmD or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years in retail pharmacy or hospital environment

Technical Skills

• Medication Management

Certifications

• Pharmacy Board Certification (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
