Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Auditor to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, risk management, and compliance. You will be responsible for conducting audits, producing detailed reports, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough audits and produce comprehensive reports.
• Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist in the development of risk assessment strategies.
• Stay informed on changes in accounting regulations and standards.
• Provide training and support on auditing processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to clarify and resolve audit issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master’s degree or additional certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial auditing or similar role

Certifications

• CIMA or CISA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
