Job Description

As a Tax Consultant at Tax Advisory Group, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert tax advice to our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with taxation legislation, preparing tax returns, and providing strategic tax planning advice.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and rights.
• Draft tax-related correspondence and proposals for clients.
• Analyze financial information to identify tax opportunities.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and communicate implications to clients.
• Foster strong client relationships through exceptional service.
• Contribute to team meetings and strategy sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or related field
• Postgraduate degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax advisory roles

• Tax Compliance

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
