Auditor

Job Description

As an Auditor at Prestige Accounting Firm, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our dynamic team in examining financial statements and providing risk assessment across various sectors. We're looking for a proactive individual who can communicate findings to both stakeholders and clients efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Execute audits in compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Evaluate accounting systems and internal control procedures.
• Draft and deliver audit reports summarizing results and recommending rectifications.
• Support management during internal investigations and audits.
• Ensure documentation is sufficient for external audits.
• Act as a point of contact for queries from clients regarding their financial information.
• Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• CA(SA) or similar professional qualification is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant position

Technical Skills

• Tax Compliance
• Accounting Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• ACCA or CIMA certifications are an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with data analytics tools: Experience utilizing tools such as Tableau or Power BI for financial data analysis.
• Knowledge of international auditing standards: Understanding of the International Standards on Auditing (ISA) is preferable.
