We are in search of a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing projects that focus on environmental preservation and sustainability. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations, project management skills, and a passion for making a difference in the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and project planning.
• Create and manage project budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate with government bodies for compliance with environmental laws.
• Participate in community outreach programs that promote environmental awareness.
• Utilize GIS software for environmental mapping and analysis.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in all projects.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of environmental initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior staff in environmental practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to align project objectives with community needs.
• Draft grant proposals for funding environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in project management
