Job Description

In this role as a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial part in our mental health services, assessing and treating psychological conditions. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a supportive environment and participate in community outreach programs to promote mental well-being. Responsibilities

• Administer psychological tests and interpret results.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and workshops.
• Work with clients to develop personal growth plans.
• Advocate for client needs and preferences within the healthcare system.
• Participate in peer supervision and mentorship programs.
• Conduct psycho-educational sessions in the community.
• Promote mental health programs and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or related field
• HPCSA Registration as a Clinical Psychologist

Experience

• 3+ years of direct client contact experience

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Group therapy facilitation

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Crisis management

Certifications

• Trauma-Informed Care Certification
• CBT Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual capabilities: Able to converse fluently in both English and Afrikaans.
