Job Description

As a Pharmacist, you will utilize your clinical knowledge to consult with patients, accurately dispense medications, and educate them about their treatments. You will work closely with doctors and nurses to ensure comprehensive patient care. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about pharmacy practice and community health.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Advise physicians on drug therapy and formulary decisions.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and intervene as necessary.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
  • Perform medication reconciliation and patient screenings.
  • Support initiatives to enhance the patient experience.
  • Lead pharmacy education initiatives within the organization.
  • Assist in compliance with accreditation standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Advanced certification in pharmacy practice is an advantage
Experience
  • Experience in community pharmacy preferred but not essential
