Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Germiston. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of mechanical systems and will work on innovative engineering projects aimed at improving efficiency and performance in various applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of mechanical components.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
• Analyze mechanical failures and recommend design improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all engineering projects.
• Assist in the training and development of junior engineers.
• Mentor interns and assist in their practical learning experiences.
• Collaborate with the design team to innovate and improve mechanical systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• PG Diploma in Engineering or related fields is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of practical experience in engineering roles

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Proficient in using FEA software for structural and thermal analysis.
