We're seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the development of best practices. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement audit plans based on risk assessments.
• Analyze financial and operational data for trends and discrepancies.
• Report audit findings and monitor follow-up on recommendations.
• Support financial reporting processes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in training staff on compliance with financial policies.
• Review accounting records for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct special audits and investigations as needed.
• Engage in regular discussions with team members on audit progress.
• Document audit processes and maintain audit files.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree in Accounting or an MBA is an asset

Experience

• 5 years of progressive auditing experience

Certifications

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
