Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the development of best practices. Responsibilities

• Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial controls.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Review compliance with corporate governance policies.
• Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
• Provide training and guidance to junior auditors.
• Maintain current knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree in Accounting or an MBA is an asset

Experience

• 5 years of progressive auditing experience

• Data Analysis
• Financial Auditing Software

• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of SAP and Oracle: Familiarity with SAP ERP systems and Oracle Financial Services.
• Experience with data analytics tools: Experience in utilizing tools for auditing and data analysis.
