Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, along with experience in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and managing a variety of accounting tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations while providing sound financial advice to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Review and finalize monthly financial reports.
• Manage the financial budgeting process.
• Assist in investment evaluation and cash flow management.
• Provide support during financial audits.
• Communicate financial insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure the accuracy of data entered into accounting software.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CIMA or equivalent) is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the accounting sector

• Budgeting and Forecasting

Certifications

• CIMA qualification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
