Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated General IT Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing support and administration for IT operations, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining IT systems. Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets efficiently.
• Assist with network configuration and maintenance tasks.
• Evaluate and implement new software solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment and systems.
• Support data migration and upgrades as needed.
• Work with cybersecurity teams to protect the organization's data.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with vendors and external service providers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or administration

• Active Directory

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• CompTIA Security+ Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
