We are currently seeking a motivated General IT Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing support and administration for IT operations, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining IT systems. Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users across various IT systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise.
• Assist in managing and maintaining servers, networks, and computer systems.
• Conduct regular system checks and performance monitoring.
• Help with software installations and updates.
• Document IT processes and maintain inventory of IT assets.
• Ensure cybersecurity measures are adhered to.
• Collaborate with team members to improve IT procedures.
• Train staff on new technology and software applications.
• Respond to support requests promptly and effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or administration

• Active Directory

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• CompTIA Security+ Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
