Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Planner in Cape Town. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating investment strategies, and providing ongoing support to clients. Your role will be crucial in identifying financial opportunities and risks to help clients maximize their wealth while minimizing tax liabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients' financial data to create effective strategies.
• Provide actionable investment recommendations tailored to individual needs.
• Stay abreast of economic trends and changes in legislation that may affect clients.
• Offer support for clients during major life events such as retirement and estate planning.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for client meetings.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars to educate clients about financial literacy.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Business Administration
• Postgraduate qualifications in Finance or Economics are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in wealth management or financial advising

• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• Tax Advisor Certification
• Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) is preferred

Languages
