We are seeking a Fire Marshal to play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the community in Cape Town. The successful candidate will oversee fire prevention measures, conduct inspections, and engage with the public to promote fire safety awareness. Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with local fire codes and regulations.
• Conduct fire drills and simulations to ensure readiness.
• Engage with community members to raise awareness about fire hazards.
• Provide recommendations to improve fire safety in existing infrastructure.
• Prepare and present educational materials on fire safety.
• Participate in local safety meetings and planning committees.
• Review and update emergency response plans in collaboration with local authorities.
• Assist in the development of community fire safety programs.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Fire Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Science would be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in fire safety management or related field
