Job Description

Join our team as a Veterinarian, where you’ll play an essential role in providing top-notch care for animals in our community. Responsibilities include performing examinations, administering vaccines, and conducting surgeries, as well as educating pet owners about animal care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct health assessments and diagnostics for various animals.
  • Provide treatment and rehabilitation for injured or ill animals.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners about diagnoses and treatments.
  • Perform surgeries when necessary and ensure proper post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the entire veterinary team for exceptional care.
  • Manage the clinic's inventory and medical supplies.
  • Offer support to veterinary technicians and assist in training.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote animal welfare.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for clinics’ improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Veterinary degree from an accredited institution
  • Certification by the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in veterinary medicine
