We are seeking a qualified Chemical Engineer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have experience in process design, optimization, and innovation in chemical manufacturing. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of chemical production processes.
• Research and develop new chemical formulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes in production.
• Monitor process parameters and troubleshoot any deviations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory and process documentation.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Report on project progress and suggest improvements.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Participate in plant trials and evaluate outcomes.
• Ensure environmental compliance in all chemical processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years in a chemical manufacturing environment
