Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to enhance our team in Bloemfontein. Your responsibilities will include engineering designs, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget while adhering to all legal regulations and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design projects from concept to completion.
• Evaluate and improve existing engineering processes and systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Prepare reports summarizing project progress and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on engineering solutions.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and requirements.
• Develop construction cost estimates and budgets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in civil engineering, with a focus on project management
