Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, be adept in financial reporting, and contribute to our clients' financial success with precision and insight. You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and providing recommendations for improving financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial records for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and reports.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance metrics.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.
• Engage with banks and other financial institutions as necessary.
• Provide training and support to junior accounting staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience

• 3-6 years of experience in accounting roles
