Veterinarian

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Veterinarian to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive veterinary care, diagnosing and treating animal diseases, and advising pet owners on health and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Examine pets and livestock to detect illnesses and injuries.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and prevention strategies.
• Maintain a high-quality standard of care in all procedures.
• Participate in training for junior veterinarians and support staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
• Advanced qualification in Animal Behaviour is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in clinical veterinary practice

• Anesthesia Management
• Veterinary Software Proficiency

Certifications

• Veterinary Medical Association Membership

Languages

• English: Fluent
