Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Civil Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in civil engineering principles and a passion for sustainable infrastructure development. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects accurately.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with regulatory agencies during project execution.
  • Manage procurement processes for materials, tools, and services.
  • Document and report on progress and deviations from the project plan.
  • Review design changes and assess their impact on project timelines and costs.
  • Assist in resource allocation and planning to meet project deadlines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
  • Engage with clients to define project objectives and specifications.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualifications preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering
