Sheeter Operator

Job Description

The Sheeter Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used to cut paper, cardboard, or plastic into sheets of a specific size and shape. The successful candidate will work in a manufacturing environment and ensure that production targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
• Optimize machine performance for efficiency.
• Report any quality issues to the Production Supervisor immediately.
• Assist other operators as needed to maintain workflow.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production goals.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Technical or vocational training in machine operation or related field is preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience operating sheeting machines in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic math skills

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
