Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work on various projects, focusing on developing sustainable solutions for environmental issues. You will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to evaluate environmental impacts and devise efficient methods to mitigate them.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental impact assessments to evaluate project feasibility.
• Develop plans to improve environmental quality and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Engage with stakeholders and community members to gather input and support.
• Perform data analysis and interpretation to inform environmental decision-making.
• Create and maintain project documentation related to environmental assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations.
• Advise on waste management practices and pollution prevention strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Advanced degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in similar roles
