Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

Our company is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist who will be responsible for enhancing the security posture of our systems and networks. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and be skilled in threat analysis and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce security policies and compliance measures.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Analyze logs and security incidents for patterns and anomalies.
• Guide technology teams in implementing secure practices.
• Develop incident response strategies and conduct drills.
• Maintain knowledge of compliance regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Additional cybersecurity certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity

Technical Skills

• Firewall Management
• Vulnerability Assessment

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of cloud security: Experience with security protocols in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of encryption technologies: Familiarity with encryption and data protection mechanisms.
