Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a background in electrical design, implementation, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with project managers and other engineers to develop innovative solutions to electrical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute electrical system testing and validation.
• Work with external vendors and contractors on project deliverables.
• Evaluate existing systems for upgrade or replacement options.
• Investigate and resolve system failures or performance issues.
• Support training for end-users on new systems.
• Research new technologies and trends in electrical engineering.
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Prepare and present design reviews to stakeholders.
• Participate in improving engineering processes and methodologies.
• Document and track changes in project designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate degree would be beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with project management experience

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
