We are seeking a passionate and experienced School Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our educational institution in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct school operational functions and guide the operational team.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to ensure operational excellence.
• Enhance operational protocols to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of support staff.
• Develop partnerships with local businesses and organizations to enhance educational programs.
• Act as a liaison between the school and external agencies.
• Oversee the maintenance of school facilities to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Promote the school’s vision and values in all operational activities.
• Address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Support the Head of School in strategic planning and execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Management
• Master's degree in Educational Leadership or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a leadership role within an educational institution
