Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Meter and Regulator Shop Supervisor. This role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas meters and regulators. The successful candidate will lead a team of technicians and ensure compliance with safety regulations while providing exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the meter and regulator shop.
• Ensure all work aligns with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to technicians.
• Develop training programs for skill enhancement.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules.
• Discuss and resolve any operational issues with the Operations Manager.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for equipment procurement.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and changes.
• Foster a productive and positive work environment.
• Keep up-to-date with safety regulations and ensure adherence.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in gas meter and regulator installation, maintenance, and repair, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
