Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mining Engineer to contribute towards our mining projects in Durban. The successful candidate will be involved in designing, implementing, and optimizing mining processes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor operations.
• Assess new technologies for application in mining processes.
• Lead investigations into incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of necessary materials.
• Facilitate training sessions on safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or other relevant field

Experience

• 5+ years in mining operations and project management

Technical Skills

• Data analysis and interpretation
• Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project)

Certifications

• Mine Health and Safety Representative Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
