Job Description

We are seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to become an integral part of our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in chemical processes, with an emphasis on safety and sustainability. You will be responsible for developing, designing, and optimizing various chemical processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while promoting innovative practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement processes for chemical manufacturing.
  • Conduct tests and analyze data for process improvement.
  • Ensure health and safety practices are followed in all operations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor performance metrics and report findings.
  • Identify opportunities for product and process optimization.
  • Create technical documentation for processes and equipment.
  • Lead training sessions for new engineering personnel.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance and audits.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Postgraduate studies in Chemical Engineering are preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in process design and development
