We are seeking a dedicated and qualified pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, with the ability to manage medication therapy, advise patients, and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' medication regimens and make recommendations.
• Handle patient inquiries regarding medications and health issues.
• Stay updated on new medications and treatments.
• Assist in formulating clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective medication management.
• Conduct patient education on chronic disease management.
• Provide immunization services when applicable.
• Adhere to ethical standards and best practices in pharmacy.

Requirements

Education

• BPharm or equivalent qualification
• Master’s degree in Pharmacy is beneficial

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting

• Clinical Pharmacy Practices

Certifications

• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
