Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated First-Line Supervisor to lead our maintenance team. The candidate will ensure that mechanical systems are maintained and repaired efficiently, fostering a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee maintenance activities for mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss maintenance priorities.
• Ensure all required maintenance documentation is completed.
• Act as a point of contact for maintenance-related queries.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Implement training programs for new hires.
• Collaborate with procurement for maintenance supplies.
• Analyze maintenance trends and suggest necessary improvements.
• Support the maintenance manager in strategic planning.
• Maintain a zero-accident record on the team.

Requirements

Education

• Trade test certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
